Warranty
section I

Warranty Procedure

If a Warranty or non-Warranty claim is necessary, the following procedures must be followed.
I. Immediately notify the company from whom you purchased your product of the problem.
2.If a dealer sold you your product, ask them to inspect the product and/or malfunction, verify the warranty, and have them notify us.
3.If you have not been contacted by the dealer within 24 hours (except for weekends) notify the factory immediately at 1-800-635-8188 (USA& Canada), (206) 895-1184 outside the USA.
4.We will ship parts we acquire from outside vendors within 48 hours (except for weekends) and custom manufactured parts within 30 days after notification of the problem.
5.The freight must be prepaid prior to shipment or we will ship COD for the freight charges only.
6.An invoice will be generated for the cost of the product or part. In most warranty situations, the total cost will be credited (with the exception of freight). However, there are occasions when the company will request that the defective part be returned to the factory. In -these situations, the cost will be credited when the defective product or part is returned to the factory prepaid.
7.When requested by the company, a UPS Call Tag will be issued so-that the product or part may be returned. UPS will supply the tag when they arrive to pick up the package. The customer needs only to prepare the package for shipment.
8.If the product was purchased directly from the factory we will pay reasonable service charges to an authorized repair service company.
9.IMPORTANT – The transaction is not complete until:

a.  You are completely satisfied.
and
b. The defective product or part is returned to the factory prepaid when requested by the company.

By following these simple procedures, your claim can be handled in an expeditious manner,

WARRANTY

Thirty-Six Month New Product Limited Warranty
Leander Health Technologies Corporation warrants this new product for a period of three years (thirty-six months) from the date of shipment, to be free of defects in parts and workmanship. If, in normal use, a part is found to be defective or breaks during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the part (at our option) including the labor In do so, at our expense All freight charges incurred to have warranty work performed, including the full replacement of the product, will be the responsibility of the product owner. The only exception In the thirty-six month warranty is upholstery, foam hand grips and mechlocks which carry a full twelve ( 12) month warranty from the date of shipment

 

What the WARRANTY covers;

I.  Any part which proves to be defective during the warranty period or which causes the product to malfunction.                                               2. All labor required to repair the product in the event of malfunction during the warranty period.

What the WARRANTY does not cover:

I. FREIGHT charges resulting from warranty claims during the warranty period.

2. Any claim against upholstery, foam hand grips and mechlock products beyond 12 months from date of shipment to the original purchaser.
3. Repair or replacement of any part caused by negligent use or accidental damage or breakage.
4. Repair or replacement of any part damaged due to fire, water, or any act of God.

Responsibility of the manufacturer:

To arrange for the repair of the product in a timely manner in the event of malfunction during the warranty period.

Responsibility of the purchaser:

To promptly notify the manufacturer of a suspected malfunction during the warranty period.
This thirty-six month warranty obligation is specifically limited to the above provisions and the terms and conditions noted elsewhere herein. Leander Health Technologies Corporation is released from any contingent liability caused by, but not limited to, any actions caused by service personnel, loss of revenue due to inability to use its products, or collateral or contingent damage caused by a product malfunction.
This thirty-six month warranty does not apply to re-manufactured or used products sold by Leander Health Technologies Corporation. Re-manufactured or used products are covered under a separate warranty.

WARRANTY

Terms & Conditions

I. General Scope Of Coverage
This Warranty covers both the labor and the materials for adjustment, repair and/or replacement of parts necessitated by normal use of the equipment except as hereinafter provided. Damage to the equipment or its parts arising from misuse, abuse. negligence, or causes beyond Leander Health Technologies Corporations’ control are not covered. In addition. Leander Health Technologies Corporation may terminate this Warranty In the event the equipment ls modified, damaged. altered or serviced by personnel other than those authorized by Leander Health Technologies Corporation or If parts, accessories or components not authorized by Leander Health Technologies Corporation are fitted to the equipment. finally. this Warranty Is non-transferable and the coven&9 herein extends only to the original purchaser of the equipment.

.2.. Service Calls

a. Service calls under this Warranty will be made during normal business hours at the Installation address of the original owner. Travel and labor time for service calls after normal hours on weekends and on holidays. if and when available. will be charged to the customer at overtime rates In effect at the time the service call is made.
b. tr the equipment Is moved to a new location. Leander Health Technologies Corporation shall have the option to charge. and the customer agrees to pay. the difference in published service/maintenance charges between the current location and the new location; such charges to be assessed on a pro-rata basis. tr the equipment ls sold. customer agrees to notify Leander Health Technologies Corporation and pay a fair and reasonable upcharge for continued maintenance under this Warranty, taking into account the distance to the new office location and Leander Health Technologies Corporations’ published rates for service on a -Per Call+ basis.

3. Extent of labor Services
labor performed during a service call includes lubrication and cleaning of the equipment and the adjustment, repair or replacement of parts described in Paragraph -4.
4. Repair and Replacement of Parts
Subject to the general scope of coverage, all parts necessary to the operation of the equipment will be furnished free of charge during an authorized service call accomplished within the Warranty period.
5. Cushions
Leander Health Technologies Corporation will replace any cushion covered with factory original vinyl, cloth or leather due to tearing at the seams or cracking. within the first 12 months of the Warranty. In the event of a tear in any location where upholstery Is affixed to the mounting boards with staples or other fastening devices and/or along sewn seams, Is discovered by the customer. Leander Health Technologies Corporation will replace such cushion(s) free of charge. In the event of cracking in any location, where it Is determined the customer used any cleaner or disinfectant other than that recommended by Leander Health Technologies Corporation. cracking due to puncture or misuse. or cracking due to not following factory recommended maintenance guidelines, the customer will be charged the full retail costs published at the time of requested replacement. If cracking is determined to have occurred due to a latent defect In the materials used to upholster the cushion(s), Leander Health Technologies Corporation will replace such cushion(s) free of charge.
6. Term
This new product Warranty shall become effective upon receipt by Leander Health Technologies Corporation of the shipping wayblll acknowledging shipment and shall continue for three full calendar years (36 months) from the date of shipment.
7. Charges

a. Customer understands that alterations or specification changes may require an Increase in service/maintenance charges and agrees to pay such charges promptly when due. Customer also understands that Leander Health Technologies Corporation will not be responsible for reimbursing service personnel for any work that is not authorized in advance. All won< performed in excess of authorized warranty repair ls the sole responsibility of the customer and as such, ls to be accomplished as a separate transaction between the customer and repair personnel.
b. Leander Health Technologies Corporation products are designed to give excellent performance when used with manufacturer’s supplies. If such supplies are substituted and are defective or not acceptable for use on manufacturer’s equipment and cause abnormally frequent service calls. service problems or damage to the manufacturers equipment, then Leander Health Technologies Corporation may at its option, terminate this Warranty. In that event, the customer will be offered service on a “Per Call” basis at published rates. It ls not a condition of this Warranty, however, that the customer use only manufacturer’s authorized supplies.

8. Replacement Parts Warranty
Leander Health Technologies Corporation will warranty all factory furnished replacement parts for a period of six (6) months from the date of shipment to the customer. It ls recognized that there may be instances when replacement of a part will occur within the 36 month period whereby the warranty period for the specific replacement part(s) would extend beyond the normal 36 month new product warranty expiration date. Conversely, replacement of a part may also occur within the 36 month period such that the warranty period for the specific part(s) would ordinarily expire prior to the normal 36 month warranty expiration date. In either case, the warranty period for the replacement part(s) will extend in the favor of the customer (e.g .. beyond the normal 36 month period for the former and until the normal 36 month period for the latter). In all cases however, Leander Health Technologies Corporation will only cover the labor for adjustment, repair and/or replacement during the normal 36 month limited warranty period.
9.No Warranty
Other than the obligations set forth herein. Leander Health Technologies Corporation DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES. EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES Of MERCHANTABILITY. FITNESS FOR USE, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. LEANDER HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION OR ANY OF ITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE PERSONNEL SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT. INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT OR THE OF USE OF THE EQUIPMENT.
10. Miscellaneous
This Warranty shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the state of Washington. Kitsap County. This constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and may not be modified except in writing signed by duly authorized officers of Leander Health Technologies Corporation and the customer.
